Dwanda Glenn-Woodward has more than 20 years of executive-level operational, management, and partnership development experience assisting nonprofits and corporate entities in maximizing their effectiveness and leveraging their capabilities to meet strategic growth and transformation.

At PPC-Leftwich, Dwanda focuses on developing and implementing community engagement strategies. In addition, she supports the analysis and development of plans/strategies for management operations (primarily DC government and nonprofit associations), which can include advising on policy issues and objectives, as well as designing and/or implementing customer service, professional development, community engagement, and other types of plans and related products.

Dwanda excels in teaching organizations how to improve management practices and succeed in the face of ongoing change and increased competition. She takes pride in serving as a pragmatic strategist who builds and sustains capacity-building relationships with corporations, foundations, government entities, and nonprofit partners. She has a strong record of partnering with advocacy groups, industry leaders, lawmakers, regulators, and legislative staff on a number of major issues, including health care, education, and job training.

Upon completing a distinguished tenure of service as a legislative assistant to Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), Dwanda served as chief of staff and project director with the National Medical Association and the Black Women’s Health Imperative. Prior to working with PPC-Leftwich, she served as the director of administration and operations for the YWCA USA.
